For the past couple of days we have been getting rain during the night time hours, so light so not so light. So this morning we have our lake back. It usually appears if we have heavy rains around five or six inches. This is what one might call a toad strangler rain because the water is deeper than most toads.
We cut down our banana plant to clear the lot and salvaged a stalk of bananas which got freshly washed with the rain. They may make it to an eatable stage since we had to cut them early.
