It seems like luck has a lot to play when it comes to moving to a new country, especially when faced with an immigration process that seems endless. I am sure it is no different that trying to immigrate to the US, especially now.
After reading some of the exploits of what others have gone through; a rabbit's foot may be in order. Once we get most of our legal documents certified and authenticated we will be finishing up the process while in Costa Rica. The good thing is we already have a phone and internet at the house, plus we have a cell phone now too. All of these will come in handy when trying to communicate with the world of document processing. The important thing is to keep diligent to make sure files do not get lost, or your place in line. The ultimate goal is the cedula.
With a changing of the guard at the La Migracion, one can only hope that things can and will change to make the process a little less daunting. I guess luck will also have something to do with this too.
